Another successful symposium that brought in 241 teachers & students from 88 high schools across the province of Ontario, who heard two dynamic keynote speakers and participated in various workshops of their choice. 2018 Discovery Day Evaluation Summary

Program Objectives

  • A one-day symposium designed to attract high school students in grades 10-12, from across Ontario, who are considering a career in Health Sciences.
  • Students benefit from an inspiring keynote speaker and exposure to interactive workshops and/or laboratory or clinical demonstrations that are lead by mentors from various healthcare professions, including undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Upon completion of the day, students leave with a better understanding of the far-reaching opportunities a career in health sciences could hold for them.
