The Cancer Research Society is pleased to announce the launch of its 2017 Operating Grants Competition. Awarding operating grants annually is the principal means by which the Cancer Research Society fulfills its mission to support fundamental research, early translational and environment-cancer in the broad field of cancer and contribute to the advancement of science aimed at preventing, detecting and treating this disease. The Cancer Research Society Operating Grants Competition is open to researchers across Canada.
DEADLINES FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Letter of intent: December 5th, 2016 11:59 pm (Form available online on November 7, 2016)
Complete Application: February 16, 2017. 11:59 pm. (Form available online on December 16, 2016)
Please note that a Letter of Intent is mandatory for all researchers wishing to submit an application within the 2017 Operating Grants Competition.
In addition to the regular grants that are available for all types of cancer, the Cancer Research Society is making some specific calls for operating grant proposals in particular areas of cancer research:
