The Canada Gairdner Awards are Canada’s most prestigious medical award that recognizes and celebrates the work of the world’s best and brightest biomedical researchers. The Annual Gairdner Symposia will be held at the University of Toronto on Oct 27th and Oct 28th. This two-day symposia will focus on the 2016 Laureates and their work on CRISPR-Cas, HIV/AIDS, and broader global health challenges (Oct 27th) and Gene Editing across the biological spectrum (Oct 28th).
