2016 Research Bursary Student featured in HHS Share’s “Faces of HHS” series

Kate Kim, a Burlington high school student entering grade 12 at Notre Dame in September, is one of HHS’ 2016 Health Research Bursary Students completing an internship placement this summer at the Geriatrics and Research in Aging Sciences Centre (GERAS) who was been featured in a recent issue of HHS Share’s ‘Faces of HHS’ series. Kate is leading a behavior-based evaluation of GERAS that teaches older adults about health aging and eloquently describes her experience and impact: “Seeing the challenges they experience has made me passionate about contributing to the health care filed and finding answers for people suffering from different illnesses.” Read More…
