A new web-based survey to engage and learn from patients and the public about clinical trial process is available to researchers and their teams. The survey can be accessed at www.bccrin.ca/survey.
This initiative provides a unique opportunity for the public to give input and advice on their experience with clinical trials, especially those who have declined to participate in a clinical study that will help inform Canadian clinical research practices around patient engagement and communications. For more information, please see attached press release from The British Columbia Clinical Research Infrastructure Network.
HHS researchers and team members are invited to participate to contribute data particular to our region and/or therapeutic areas of study. Previous experience with earlier phases revealed that support and promotion from researchers themselves was THE most successful model of recruitment.
Investigators and team members interested in learning more or wanting to participate, should contact the Project Manager Alison Orth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
