HHS Research Administration Poster takes 1st Place at CAURA 2014 Annual Conference

The Canadian Association of University Research Administrators (CAURA) awarded 1st place to Research Administration’s Katie Porter, Manager Research Contracts, for her poster entitled, ‘The Impact of the Globalization of Clinical Trials on Clinical Research in Canada’ at the 2014 National Conference in Ottawa.

“This was the first time there was ever a poster competition at the National CAURA Conference, and to have an HHS poster on clinical research win is a great honour,” says Katie. “The globalization of clinical trials has altered the landscape of clinical research in Canada, offering both challenges and opportunities to the research community at large, as well to the research administrators that support research throughout Canada. This poster was designed to inform and spark further discussion on this significant trend.”
